2026 Activities & Events

Neighborhood activities are held throughout the year, helping residents to build relationships and promoting community cohesion. All residents are invited to attend our events.


Upcoming Events:


General meetings are held on the third Tuesday of odd-numbered months. A social half-hour begins at 6:30 p.m. at which light refreshments are served. The meeting runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The WPNA administrates several important programs to help enrich our neighborhoods and improve our community.

Newsletters

We love writing content that people love to read.

Our bi-monthly WPNA newsletter is written by members of the Board of Directors, edited professionally by a former Board member, printed at no charge by a neighborhood printer, and hand delivered to all 1,100 residences in the West Plaza by more than a dozen volunteers. It is also distributed to WPNA members as a pdf by email.

The newsletter regularly includes articles on safety, city-related topics and events, how to access city services, home and yard maintenance, neighborhood activities and a little bit of the neighborhood’s history.

Membership

Members are the heart of the WPNA. By becoming a member, you provide the financial resources and moral support that allow us to create and maintain West Plaza programs and activities. Anyone who lives in the West Plaza is welcome as a member, whether homeowner or renter. Businesses in the vicinity are also welcome. Together, our goal is to build and maintain a vibrant, safe, and enjoyable neighborhood.
